College Guild Relies On You
Since our founding in 2001, College Guild has relied on the support of countless individuals to support our mission of providing incarcerated people across the United States with free correspondence courses.
You too can become a proud supporter of College Guild! Working with College Guild is a unique opportunity to share your talents and gifts while positively impacting the lives of our students, both during prison and after release. Check out the links below for ways to get involved.
Your support means everything
to our students. As one reflects:
"I have been a College Guild participant for several years now. These courses are nothing I could afford on my own. I greatly appreciate College Guild being there for me. I brag about these courses to my family members and my fellow inmates. Others are on a waiting list to begin courses. They are always so excited when I tell them what coursework I'm doing."
Ways to Get Involved
Besides subscribing to our newsletter, there are many ways to support College Guild's efforts to make education accessible in prisons. As a small grassroots nonprofit, we are grateful to the many individuals who have donated their time, money, and talents to our mission.
Your donation transforms prison cells into classrooms. We are largely funded by private donations. Learn more about how you can financially support College Guild's mission.
We are always looking to improve and expand our curriculum. If you have expertise in a particular area and would like to share it with our students, you should consider developing a new course!

Interested in a remote volunteering opportunity that can be done on your own time? Come read and critique student work for College Guild! We have an extensive waiting list that can only be supported with more readers.
Students may also be interested in internship opportunities.
College Guild's grassroots efforts are focused in Midcoast Maine. If you would like to organize an event in your area, we are happy to help.
